Acapulco

Acapulco is the original Mexican resort town. Still, it remains a major destination and a worthwhile trip and is the number two Mexican spring break destination among U.S. college students. Many buses go from major cities to Acapulco.

Acapulco Travel Tips
Acapulco travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • Great architecture. Great beaches and food.  Zunie S.
  • Acapulco is a popular tourist destination and frankly, it's fantastic! Just remember to watch out for petty thieves, don't stay too much in the sun (use lots of sun block!) and be mindful of scorpions and other stingers biters!  Iwo B.
  • A los que desean visitar Acapulco les recomiendo jamás bañarse en la playa porque pueden infectarse los ojos muy fuerte. No olviden ver a los clavadistas de la Quebrada.  Paty G.
