Alice

Alice is a city in the South Barrier Coast region of Texas.

Alice was named after the daughter of ranchman Richard King, who established the famous King Ranch. The city is known as the "birthplace of Tejano music" since it was here, in the 1940's that Tejano was first recorded and popularized.

• The city's water tower near downtown is the tallest concrete water tower in the world, at 165 feet.
