Ames Travel Tips
Ames travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • The Okoboji Grill is my top pick for best bar/restauant after a game.  Andrew H.
  • Every weekend after the bars close you need to be on Welch Ave. for some late night Gyros. You won't find anything better anywhere.  Wes A.
  • Almost everyone speaks English to some degree, but there is a large Chinese-speaking population because of Iowa State's international students.  Randy C.
