BracBrac

Brac is in Croatia

Overview

Snakes are aplenty on Brac, in particular in the Milna area. Locals will strongly discourage you to wander into the wilderness without what they call a Knueppelsk (a chunky wooden stick).

Regions

Brac is a large island in the Adriatic sea, just off the coast of Split. In Landscape, Brac is similar to its well known neighbor Hvar with its rolling hills, pine and fig trees, isolate bays and clear water. Brac has 2 larger towns (Bol and Supetar) from where you can catch a ferry to Split/ Dubrovnik (from Supetar) or catamaran ( passengers only) to island Hvar (from Bol).

Language
