Bristol County

Bristol County is a region in eastern Rhode Island along the border with Massachusetts and on Narragansett Bay. It contains only three towns. The county was formed by the transfer of part of Bristol County, Massachusetts to the state of Rhode Island due to the long standing border dispute.
