Brookline Travel Tips
Brookline travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
- Brookline is only but a 15-20 minute T (metro, subway) ride from Boston downtown. A residential area, but also contains a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, interesting little shops, and basically everything one may need. The lake is a nice place to go for a run or just a walk!! • Becky O.
- If you're taking the T out from Boston, make sure to pay attention to which of the green line trains you're getting on - they go different places! The D line is much faster from Brookline to Boston than, say, the B or C, which have to stop at traffic lights and make MANY more stops. • Jennifer V.
- Affluent Boston suburb, mostly residential. Continue your way downtown for some action. • Ashley T.
