Buckden is a small town in North Yorkshire, often regarded as the capital of Upper Wharfedale.
Terminus of the Upper Wharfedale bus from Skipton Three roads, two unclassified, connect to Wensleydale.
Good walks to Littondale and Kettlewell
Buckden Pike.
Triangle walk in any order Buckden - Cray - Hubberholme. There can be few short walks more attractive than this.
The Buck Inn - reputedly good as well for food and accommodation.
