Calderdale
Calderdale is a metropolitan district in West Yorkshire. It was created in the 1970s as one of five metropolitan regions, (the three cities above and Kirklees being the others) in what was then a new metropolitan county of West Yorkshire. Its largest town is Halifax, but it includes also Eland, Brighouse, Sowerby, Hebden Bridge, and Todmorden.
