Cap de Creus

Cap de Creus is the easternmost point of mainland Spain. It is located in Alt Empordà county of Catalonia.

Overview

Travellers mix: many French visitors, as France is the nearest country.

Getting There
By car

Parking space is quite small, but it's easy to wait that someone leave, as most visitors don't spend much time here.

If you don't feel like risky, park on a road before reaching the parking lot--once parked cars become dense enough.

Sights
  • stones that can be seen in many of Dali paintings
  • lighthouse
  • sign of eathermost point
Activities
  • hear the silence in the national park before reaching the Cap de Creus itself
Eating

There's a restaurant inside the building of the lighthouse.
