Carthage

The ruins of Carthage are in Tunisia, 15 km north of Tunis. A city of the Pheonician and Punic periods from the C6th BC it was the base of a powerful trading empire spanning the entire south Mediterranean and home to a population of the order of half a million people.

  • this old city is famous for its mosaic historical old town which face many ennemies as romans...the place is getting a bit bad because of the politic of tunisia which doesnt protect the area as it should be. u can still admire the view over the sea and enjoy some architecture. do fast i am not sure …  Herbert F.
