Charlottesville Travel Tips

- Nice place to visit. Beatiful woods, plenty of places to go out for a meal. Cheap food, plenty on the dish. Friendly people. Nice Mall and really cheape sportswear (Nike). • Rosie A.
- You will probably visit Charlottesville as part of a trip to see Thomas Jefferson's former home, Monticello. Charlottesville is worth a visit in its own right, an attractive historic downtown area with some great shops and a safe pedestrianised zone. There are some great ice cream parlours. • Andy G.
- What a wonderful little town! I wish I lived here. So historic, there's so much to appreciate. This is for the history lover. Try to see it with "old eyes." • Cornelia V.
