Wissahickon Creek- is a stream in southeastern PA which runs about 23 miles. The beauty of this area attracted the attention of local poet like Edgar Allan Poe. The area is now part of the Fairmount Park system in Philadelphia, and the Wissahickon Valley is known as one of 600 National Natural Landmarks of the United States. America's first papermill was set up along this stream. Many locals, go to the stream to relax, and you can even take a trip to feed the ducks. It makes for a great family outing.
