Dauphin

Dauphin www.dauphin.ca is the eighth largest city in the province of Manitoba, and is located in the Parkland region, with around 8,000 souls.

Getting There

You have three ways of traveling to Dauphin. 1) By car. 2) By greyhound bus. 3) By plane. (Between Winnipeg, Brandon and Dauphin) Perimeter airways.

Activities

Each August, Dauphin hosts Canada's National Ukrainian Festival. The Selo Ukraina site, home to the festival, takes place in a natural amphitheatre set into the side of Riding Mountain National Park. The site also has examples of early Ukrainian settler architecture: settler's home, the first church. etc. The Selo site is also home to Dauphin's Countryfest, the largest outdoor country music festival in Manitoba.
