Fairbanks Travel Tips

  • Best to travel between may and july  Radek B.
  • Well, it seems that you either really like Fairbanks, or hate it. I happen to like it, even in the winter. During a cold winter day, a great (civilized) thing to do is head out to Chena Hot Springs, and have a soak. There's nothing like being all toasty warm, while ice is busy forming in your hair. …  Celso R.
  • Fairbanks is very cold in the winter and can get up to 90 degrees in the summer. Bring layers as you will need them and don't forget shorts during late June, July, and early August.  Lisa W.
