
Farnworth is a town in the Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester. Farnworth lies on undulating ground in undulating especially in the northern areas.
Farnworth is located about 2 miles south of Bolton Town centre on steep ground,especially in northern areas.
Farnworth has a bowling Green at the end of Glynne street,there is moses gate country park,locally known as crompton lodges,where there are sometimes different things going on,and if you fancy a quiet walk you can go to feed the ducks.
Although run down in parts, the Moses Gate Country Park, known locally as Crompton Lodges, is a beautiful area for relaxing, walking and feeding ducks. There is a park for children as well. Moses Gate Country Park is located on the Farnworth and Little Lever road.
Farnworth has a small shopping area that is now very run down. Many of the shops are now shut down, so there may not be much to buy.
There are a few restaurants and take aways in Farnworth,such as Tung Sing and many more.
Farnworth is not short of a pub or 2 such as the Railway,Park inn,Shakespeare,church inn and the moses gate which organizes tribute bands who come from miles away.
There are not many bed and breakfasts in Farnworth,but the most notable would be on Bolton road and it is quiet posh as well.
