Finale Ligure

Finale Ligure is in Liguria.

There are decent train conenctions to Genova and the Highway conencting northern Italy with France is just a few kilometers north of the town with a propiate entrance/exit.

It's a walkable downtown and hitchhiking to the climbing sites is very easy.

Finale Ligure is divided in three parts: Finale Marina close to the sea, Finale Pia and finnally Final Borgo a cosy old town with little streets and a protecting wall. And a stunning old church.

Climbing! That's the reason most people come here.

There is a free camping area between the city and the highway which belongs to a little pizzeria. The area provides very basic showers and toilets.
