Fort Myers is a booming town with great weather, entertainment and a casual feel in Southwest Florida. The climate of Fort Myers is tropical. On August 13, 2004, Fort Myers was sideswiped by Hurricane Charley, a category 4 hurricane that made landfall north of the area.

  • take a trip to sanibel island. It s just great !!!  Christoph A.
  • Go see Captain Mike @ the pier on south side of island below the bridge that enters the island to get hooked with good fishing. Small boat, inexpensive, knows lots of holes. Ask around, he isn't hard to find, lives on his sailboat.  Kelly
