Fort Stockton Travel Tips
Fort Stockton travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • Not much to see in Fort Stockton, I usually just stop here to fill-up the gas tank.  Gene
  • A dusty town that's seen better days. Signs for directions to Big Bend can be confusing. You may have to double-back and try another option. Some nice photo ops if you like old signs and disused buildings. Don't miss the giant roadrunner sign on the east-to-west approach.  Marcia C.
  • Watch out for Deer at 10:30am, I didnt expect any and a 6 point, 200 pounder showed me how to handle hitting one in my freshly painte 1973 Chevy Nova. Bastard. I hold a grudge to this day...  Nick
