Görlitz
Görlitz is Germany's easternmost town, situated across the Neisse River from its Polish sister city of Zgorzelec. It is very well preserved and survived the Second World War more or less intact. A lot of money was invested in the 1990's to restore the city's old town.

- The city of Gorlitz is devided in a German part and a Polish part. Divided by a river you can walk easily from the German side to the Polish side. Make sure you visit the watchtower on the German side, it has a middle age vibe. • Martijn M.
- The house of "Karstadt" is really worth seeing! • Florian S.
- Oh, here we go, my home town. Görlitz is a gorgeous town and definitely worth a visit! (and I'm not just saying that because I was born there) First of all, it's got a German and a Polish (called Zgorzelec) part separated by the river Neiße. It's got a beautiful old town built in the 15th/16th … • Frauke K.
