Gamba

Gamba is a small town located in the [[Coastal Plain (Gabon)|Coastal Plain}} region of Gabon, on the Ndogo Lagoon, near the Atlantic Ocean. The town is surrounded by small plains and forests. Its name, meaning fog, is believed to come from the Eshira people who found the place foggy at times. Besides it's amazing landscape and diverse biodiversity, Gamba is one of the economic hubs of Gabon. The town is home of the oil company Shell Gabon.

The indigenous inhabitants of Gamba are the Balumbu people.
