Hamamatsu Travel Tips
Hamamatsu travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • For 750 Yen you can take an elevator ride to the top of Act Tower and get an excellent view of the city. The best time to go is right before sunset so that you can see the city in the daytime and hang around for the nightlights to come on.  Joshua J.
  • When visiting Hamamatsu Castle Park, be sure to find the waterfall - there's a great pavilion for a picnic lunch.  Joshua J.
  • If you're into cycling, be sure to check out the cyclists' path around Lake Hamanako - up to 80km of great scenery. Be prepared for high winds, however.  Joshua J.
