Hamar is a city in Hedmark, Norway, facing the impressive Mjøsa lake. Take the E6 national highway north from Oslo. Takes between 1 and 1.5 hours. All trains between Oslo-Trondheim, Oslo-Røros and Skien-Lillehammer stop in Hamar.
