Hildesheim is a city in the north German region of Lower Saxony. The historical center of Hildesheim consisted of over 1900 half-timbered buildings and was often called "Nuremberg of the north" up to the Second World War.

- A very nice city in the middle of Germany. A town with actually no nightlife, but many bars to sit and tlak in. No matter who, but you just have to check out the old market in Hildesheim and there the Kochenhaueramtshaus. Some small hotels or the Meridian,which is kind if expensive. • Dariusz C.
