Imlil

Imlil is a village in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is a good starting point for a trekking holiday or for climbing Mt Toubkal the highest mountain in North Africa. Imlil village has a variety of shops and "pensions" as well as being a base for guides and trekking parties.

  • Imlil is a very small, but very charming little village. There's not a lot to do here except chill out, look at the mountains and read a book. The accommodation is pretty basic, but ok. It's also the start of the trek up to Jebel Toubkal. count on two days to get up and down from here. • Russell S.
