Jangyu (alternatively rendered as Changyu under the McCune–Reischauer romanisation of Korean) (Pop: 110,000) is a developing city in the Nakdong River valley of South Gyeongsang, in South Korea.
Jangyu is also the name for a myeon, or township - like administrative area, where the city is being developed. There has been rapid development in this area over the last 5 years or so because of pressure on nearby cities. Jangyu is often considered a suburb of Gimhae, and is close to the provincial capital Changwon.
