- Kapalua has a fantastic semi-protected bay that's PERFECT for snorkeling - if you don't have your own equipment, you can rent some from "Bob's" and even return it on a different island if you're island-hopping. Make sure you don't get the cheapest mask, though, because I was told that they leak. • Jennifer V.
- The best possible place to eat on maui is the pineapple grill in kapalua. It's in the kapalua golf course on the pineapple course. The food is great, the view amazing and the service far exceeds any other restaurant on maui. It is a MUST when your on the island. • Nicole
