Kappil

Kappil is a town in Kerala, India. It is on the border between Thiruvananthapuram District and Kollam Districts, and five kilometers from the famous Varkala beach.

Getting There

Passenger/local trains stop at Kappil Railway Station. Trains timings and trains to Trivandrum side (South) , Quilon and Kottayam(north)can be confirmed at Kappil Railway station, Long distance express trains available from varkala. Regular bus services from Kappil to Varkala, Paravur, Quilon,Kottiyam,Kundra etc {6AM-9PM}

Bus to Varkala, Paravur, Quilon (Kollam), Trivandrum, Attingal etc.

Trivandrum International Airport is 60 km away.

Taxis, Autorickshaw.

Sights

Scenic lagoon, sea and backwaters (a road dividing the two), visit Varkala 5km away.
