- I was surprised at the tremendous Russian community in Karlovy Vary and the restaurants are quite good. I was a bit disappointed to see the Grand Hotel Pupp wasn't as impressive as it was in the movie "Last Holiday". It was a good trip though and a nice change from Prague. • Michelle W.
