Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe is a city on the Rhine in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It is in the north of the Black Forest, close to the French border. The city was founded in 1715 by margrave Karl Wilhelm von Baden. The city was laid out on the drawing board.

  • Have a Porter and a pizza in Karlsruhe Durlach or hang out in the Schloss Park. I lived here for 3 months in 1983 and had a great time, it was a very pleasant city then, I'm sure it still is.  Andy G.
  • A male orientated city of about 250,000. There is heaps to do, the Schloss parks, the natural history museum, the summer festivals and the Xmas market. There are man made lakes every in summer and the black forest is right at the doorstep. The ZKM is a nice place to be and there are lots of good …  Anthony M.
