Kenner

Kenner is a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, located on the east bank of Jefferson Parish, approximately 10 miles west of the city. It is as the location of New Orleans International Airport.

Getting Around

The main route in and out is Interstate 10. Williams Boulevard runs from the Mississippi River to the Lakefront. Veterans Highway in the north part of the city is a major commercial avenue, connecting to Metairie just to the east.

  • Baton Rouge, the state Capital, is some 90 minutes drive north-west on Interstate-10

  • It's and Ok little outskirt city of New Orleans. it has good food but not much else.  Stephen
  • Kenner is south of New Orleans. Some say it is part of the greater metropolitan but you cannot prove that one by me. Kenner reminds me of an area where the dark creatures (vampires, undead) would hang out. Reminds me of the set location for True Blood (Bon Temps). The people are nice enough though. …  G.
