Khancoban is a small town along the Alpine Way in Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. It is pronounced can-COH-ban.
Driving the Alpine way from either Thredbo or Albury is the main way to get into town. There is a bus connection from Albury via Tallangatta.
The township itself is very pretty and with many nice flowers in the spring. A walk around town itself is very pleasant.
