Kleppe

Kleppe is in Klepp municipality in Rogaland in Norway, situated north of Bryne and south of Ganddal. Kleppe is part of the flat geographical area Jæren that goes from Brusand in the south to Randaberg in the north.

Local trains on Jærbanen (between Stavanger and Egersund) stops at the station Klepp. Trains are operated by the Norwegian national train operator NSB www.nsb.no. Note: Klepp station is not in the town of Kleppe, but in a small town about 2.5 km east of Kleppe. Buses operated by Kolumbus www.kolumbus.no run between Kleppe and Klepp train station.

Local buses run between Kleppe and Bryne, Sola, Sandnes and Stavanger. Kolumbus www.kolumbus.no is the local bus operator.

• Kleppelunden, (Access from Kleppelundsvegen). Nice and green park area between Kleppe and Verdalen. The paths, including a 3 km long illuminated path, are accessible for wheel chairs. There is also a music pavilion in the park. The hill Kleppevarden, with its millennium monument, can be accessed from Kleppelunden.
