Kretinga is a city in Lithuania.
Kretinga is situated on the main Klaipeda-Šiauliai-Vilnius railway line. It is also about a half-hour drive from Klaipeda, and less than that from Palanga.
The Kretinga Museum, Vilniaus gatvė. Situated in a well preserved manor house to the north of the town centre, which now houses a museum and a large orangery containing exotic plants and fish. There is a cafe situated on the orangery balcony. The museum charges a small admission fee.
