Lucca

Lucca is a city of some 90,000 people in Tuscany. Its long history goes back to Etruscan and Ancient Roman times, and the city retains pieces of Ancient architecture. Lucca's great era was in the Gothic era just before the Renaissance, and the city contains much marvelous architecture from that era.

Lucca Travel Tips

  • Check out Pinguino square. Love it. Lucca is an old school walled city. Check it out on Google . One of my favorite low-key cities in Italy.  John M.
  • A beautiful city to chill down. One should stay within the old city wall. Should visit in summer. There is an excellent Pizzeria, one of the best I have ever had. Every local would point you to this, that how we found it. I forgot the name.  Vivek A.
  • La ciudad de lucca es hermosa es el pueblo con la ciudad amurallada mejor conservada de europ son 4km se muralla renacentista un verdadero espectaculo  Pablo P.
