Madang

Madang is a town in Madang Province on the north coast of Papua New Guinea. In 2005 it had a population of almost 30,000. The town is said to be one of the prettiest towns in the South Pacific. It is a pleasant and laid back town and likely the best place to begin your PNG visit.
