Mexicali is a city in Baja California, Mexico. It is the capital of the state of Baja California, and is located immediately across the border from Calexico in California. Visitors can expect a very hot climate during the summer months while cool throughout the rest of the year, with average temperatures during the summer daytime ranging from 125ºF from June to September.
