Montañita is a small village located on Manglaralto parish along the southern coast of Ecuador. Located on Ecuador's "Ruta del Sol", recently renamed "Ruta del Spondylus" and part of Manglaralto Parrish in Santa Elena Province.

- Montañita is certainly one of the best chill-out places in the world. There is plenty of sun, sandy beaches and really classy hostales made of wood, bamboo and straw. - There are several hotels in Montoñatia, and in the norther part of it you'll find the most expensive ones (and also the most confortable). Don't take them! Montañita is all about its atmosphere... if you stay in the expensive area you will miss all the fun of Montañita. Trust me • Manuel J.
- The second beach bar in Montanita is the best one for dancing and drinking a good drink! It's openair, and little tables and chairs are on the beach. And if you found a good dance partner, go down to the sea and dance there with him/her, it's just amazing! ;) • Nadine B.
