Montego Bay Travel Tips

  • if ur planning a trip to jamaica, i recommend Negril over Montego Bay. Negril has blue blue water, and white white sand. MoBay has golden sand and sometimes blue water. we stayed in MoBay, but went to Negril for the day, and wish we had booked our resort in Negril instead ... way nicer!  Chantelle S.
  • Montego Bay is cheaper than Negril but there's a good reason - it's not as nice and you get hassled way more. If anyone asks you to buy drugs or to braid your hair, just say no thank you - if you give them any sign of hope they will never leave you alone.  Kimberly A.
  • Beware this airport. The loud speakers announcing departures is very hard to hear the accent makes it really difficult to understand. And there's no AC.  Kathy B.
