Nakhon Ratchasima

Nakhon Ratchasima, usually referred to as Khorat, is the second largest city in the Isaan region of Thailand. Its proximity to Bangkok and Isaan make it a good stopping-off point for travellers who are heading into Isaan.

  • The local name for Nakhon Ratchasima is Korat. That means city of cows. I can't say anything objective about this place as I found the love of my life here, y'see.
