New Orleans: Uptown

Uptown is a large portion of New Orleans settled in the 19th century after the Louisiana Purchase, upriver from the older parts of the city around the French Quarter and the Central Business District. At the upper end of Uptown is the Audubon & University District, and just beyond that the Carrollton neighborhood.
