Paphos

Paphos is a town at the southwestern tip of Cyprus, between the coast and the Troodos Mountains. Paphos is renowned as the birthplace of Greek goddess Aphrodite. Modern-day Paphos is divided in two, with the upper section up the hill being the commercial center, and lower Kato Paphos containing the main archaeological points of interest, as well as most hotels and tavernas.

Paphos Travel Tips
Paphos travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • Visit turtle beach and look at the baby turtles and swim in the sea!!  Louise R.
  • Awesome place, Visited in 2000 for my honeymoon and found it so refreshing. If you are from Europe you should have no problem working out your way around but if you are like me and are from far away i.e Australia you best get used to driving on the wrong side of the road (they drive on the right) …  Duane N.
  • Hire a quad bike - lots of fun!!!  Lizzie B.
