Paralimni, The traditional town of Paralimni is the largest town in the free Famagusta district, located approximately 40 minutes drive from Larnaca airport. Its town square has many good shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and three churches, the oldest of which houses a museum.

  • Small town/village, only few tourists. Good prices for shopping. Visit the big church in the center of it. There is the new one and behind it there is a really old one.. • Vicky K.
  • Locals have a weird greek-cypriot accent, and sometime funny! they are very friendly though and good english speakers • Marinos P.
  • Best, money-wise accomodation is to rent a villa outside the town. There are hundreds of them and they vary in size accomodating from 4 to 8-12 people.
