Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is a city of about 350,000 in Allegheny County, at the center of the Pittsburgh Region in southwestern Pennsylvania; the population of its metropolitan area is about 2.4 million. It is situated at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.

  • This is Steelers' nation(NFL). Worth going to a game. The Penguins(NHL) not so much. Cool stadium thouigh (the roof opens). Shop at the South Side or Waterfront. Rushhour can kill you to go through the tunnels by car. • Justin B.
  • Primanti Brothers - a must do meal! Corned Beef, Egg and Fries all on one sandwhich. They offer more than just Corned Beef, but the premise is the same. • Annemarie B.
  • Traffic at 5pm in Pittsburgh is just as bad as traffic in San Francisco at 5pm. With the three rivers coming together and having to travel over bridges and through Mt Washington - it can be a real cluster. • Annemarie B.
