Placencia is a long, narrow peninsula – almost an island – along the Caribbean coastline of Belize. Flying from Belize City with Tropic or Maya Island Air is easiest from the north. You can also ride a school bus into Placencia from Belize City; 4-6 hours.

- Amazing little place where the main road is a single row of slabs about 3 foot wide. Lobser festival is fun but it may rain and don't be suprised if you have to puch the bus the last few miles.
