Pomerania is a region in Poland. The far western part of it is a part of Germany.

Cities
  • Bydgoszcz — one of the capitals often called "Little Berlin" because of the beautiful Art-Nouveau, Neo-Baroque and Eclecticist architecture
  • Gdańsk — one of the old, beautiful European cities, right on the Baltic coast. Although it was destroyed in World War II, it has been perfectly rebuilt. The city is a good departure point to the many sea resorts along the north coast.
  • Gdynia — a big city at the Back of Gdańsk with a sandy beach a huge harbour and of of the biggest aquariums in Europe
  • Koszalin
  • Sopot — spa at the Baltic Coast
  • Szczecin — one of the most important cities in Pomerania since the Middle Ages. An enormous harbour, monuments and old parks in the centre, museums, etc.
  • Torun — one of the capitals of and after Kraków the city with the most sites to visit in Poland; famous for its son Nicolaus Copernicus and the its medival gingerbread called katarzynki
