Santa Fe

Santa Fe, founded in 1607, is the capital of the state of New Mexico in the United States. With an elevation of 7000 feet, it is not only the United States' oldest state capital but its highest. With a population of about 70,000, it's not the most populous capital, but that's part of its charm.

Santa Fe Travel Tips
Santa Fe travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • If you really want to visit old adobe style architecture, Native American authentic suovineers, and Spanish/Mexican food, then Santa Fe is the place to go!  Jason C.
  • Enjoy the indian market and the chili shop  Pia N.
  • One of my favorite American towns/cities. The State Capitol really does have a great Art Gallery and the shed is my pick for the best restaurant with good enchiladas, pollo adobo, and christmas chili.  Andrew H.
