Sokcho

Sokcho is a city in Gangwon, South Korea. Sokcho has a population of around 84,000. It's quite a sleepy city and is known as a gateway to Seoraksan National Park, which is a 30 minute bus ride from the central hub.

  • Beautiful city on the Eastern edge of S. Korea. Great sea side places and just a short bus ride away from Seorukson. Wonderful city to spend a few days in. • J a s o n
  • There's a really nice (jjimjilbang, or sauna with sleeping rooms) to stay at in Sokcho, called (Sokcho Haesupia), and it's only 5 minutes' walk from the Express Bus Terminal (NOT the Intercity one), which is close to E-Mart. • Morwenna H.
