dont be afraid to haggle with the locals in the souk,you can grab yourself a bargain plus have a great laugh.tunisians are very hospitable and friendly people... thought it was great. There's some good accommodation here and the old city walls and the souq are pretty cool. Its easy to do day trips of to Monastir, Kairoun and El Jem from here...
