Tokyo: Asakusa

Asakusa is a part of Tokyo's downtown Taito district best known for its many temples, particularly Sensōji. Asakusa is the terminus of the Metro Ginza line, which is the best way to get into the area, perhaps by connecting from the Yamanote line at Ueno.

  • Tokyo Disneyland is here, actually in Shin-Urayasu (meaning "new" Urayasu.) Other than that, not much else worthwhile here unless one is commuting on the Tozai Line in which case this is an express starting point for the morning rush.  Michael M.
  • There is Tokyo Disney Land and Disney Sea. There is nothing other special. U can go there if you like Disney, that's all...  Kentaro U.
  • Urayasu is in Chiba prefecture, but it has "Tokyo Disney Land (TDL)" and "Tokyo Disney See". There is also good hotels around.  Ayumi I.
