Vigan
Vigan is in Northern Luzon. Its Spanish colonial influence in local architecture and old-world charm make it a unique city in the Philippines. In pre-colonial times, Vigan was an important trading post for Chinese junks, trading gold beeswax and other products from the central Cordilleras for exotic Asian goods.

- Vigan is a huge on culture when it comes to the Spaniards colonial houses. It also know for its trade of pottery, the palatable longganissa (stuffed pork meat into sausages). There's also an old steeple that's quite popular because it was where the movie "Ang Panday" (the blacksmith)was filmed. • Tonette P.
- Take a horse-drawn carriage ride and, while aboard, scope out the shops, restaurants, and photo ops you'd like to explore later, and remember to haggle with the vendors. • Leah M.
- The capital of Ilocos Sur... bustling with activity... I like the horse and carriage rides... nice stuff. • Taleb T.
